As you round off; it has legs -- nice legs. ;)
I'm interested by this. Haven't really touched C&C since Red Alert 2 (outside of a few goes at Generals), so maybe I'll take the jump when it's bargain priced.
First off, you completely mis-understand my rant. You seem to think I have directed it at LinuxGuru, but I merely referred to his 'selfish' point. And, for some reason, you have taken it to a personal level. I respect your opinion -- so how about reading mine before you comment?
Who's speaking ill of a veteran? Which veteran are you referring to? The one over there...oh wait, that guy? *points*
There is no subject here, you are just making it more personal than i...
Hmm...in what way do you find it selfish? Many people, for example, claimed they were fed up of hearing about Madeline McCain when the story reached its peak; a horrible incident, not on the scale of War obviously, but one that inspired both fear for what humanity is capable of and boredom at the continuous looping of the subject matter.
People get fed up of things. That's life. We can't always look THAT far back; we must look forward -- whether it be two steps ahead, or an inf...
As Tim Curry pointed out, Sony have got the small print in place to protect from copyright infringement cases.
I played with her in Dead or Alive 4 a couple of years ago. She was quite good. And it wasn't 'Game with Fame', just random - lol.
Hold on a minute there...why is Eurogamer being lumped into that list?
Hadn't seen that ad before (living in the Uk and all), so thanks. But the article was a waste of time.
That's not that point. It is another example of Microsoft's flimsy policies. They just seem to make these policies, then break them instantly. Why make them? Why not just have some sort of internal policies that exist when a situation arises? Whether it's in regards to achievements or size limits on XBLA, I don't like their relenting attitude.
Yet again, this site posting ancient news. =/ Or in this case, video.
While the Guitar Hero thing is new, the rest is ancient news.
I'm still skeptical of LBP. I have a feeling it is going to be a letdown. By no means a bad game, but a letdown.
Even when we are all dead and buried, Wipeout will still be around...
Very true. I'd completely forgot about Metroid until the article mentioned it! Too much dust gathering around Wii consoles everywhere.
I've been meaning to dig into God of War. Will get it one day...
One of the most original stories in years. I love this game and I definitely recommend it.
PlayStation360 - I was just about to type about bass until I saw your post. I agree. Personally, I play these type of games by 'running' on the strumming device. I've not seen anyone else around me do it, but it's most comfortable to me because I play bass.
And I feel it keeps my fingers nice and active for if I want to pick up my actual bass. It is helpful; even if it's just building endurance.
I'm looking forward to it...cautiously...
But anyways, submitted a piece similar to this a couple of weeks and it was rejected for being 'Old News'...lovely...
Dead Space - Another one that was dropped at the last cut. Crucial factor for not including this was looking at the developer (I believe this is their first original IP), who have been responsible for such games as 'The Simpsons' and 'From Russia with Love'. They mainly work on source material, so we'll see what happens. Also, it's a Q4 2008 release. I was very skeptical of including such games, although I believe one Q4 2008 release made the list, so that was also partly the reason. I believ...
And just to confirm that Saboteur and Brutal Legend were considered for the list! I was going to include both games in the conclusion, but I felt I had already mentioned too many titles!
I had a tough time cutting those two. But I just didn't deem them substantial enough (yet...) to be known with gamers.
To me, both games are unknown quantities at the moment!
Thanks for the nice comments thus far guys. Not one to comment on my own work, but just w...
I'm hoping this guy gets the boot. It's unacceptable for such shoddy journalism anywhere else in the media, so why here? There are plenty of other journalists out there who would like that job.
